BATHS
Caroma produces a range of high quality designer baths made of 4mm thick cross linked sanitaryware grade acrylic. The benefit of 4mm, rather than thinner acrylics, is that if scratches occur over time they are able to be polished out, which is why Caroma baths keep their good looks longer than competitor brands.
Caroma uses sanitaryware grade acrylic due to it's non porous surface, making the Caroma baths less likely to stain. Hard water and rust, dripping taps and mould will not mark a Caroma bath.
Another plus is our non porous surface will not hold bacteria - an import hygienic feature. The shell of our baths are then coated with a fibreglass resin, adding extra strength and insulation. A 3/4" fully reinforced solid steel rod (not a tube) is added to Caroma baths under the rim. This adds stability and strength to the bath. And Caroma baths are so easy to clean - mild dishwashing detergents are all that is needed to keep a Caroma bath looking like brand new. The range of colours are designed to match the colours of Caroma sanitaryware. Caroma has a variety of manufacturing operations across several states.
